The creation of the actual robot has been put on hold, pending some lego pieces coming in the mail, so in the mean time its off to software development.
Reading this book on Programming with Microsoft Robotics Visual Studio and some tutorials on the basics of MS Robotics I have been able to create a rather neat application using just their Visual Programming Language.
Basically there are 2 windows, I don't know how to combine them at the moment, one controls how the robot moves, and the other takes video feed from the web cam. With face recognition and motion detection, which is pretty cool for the amount of work I have done.
